Provider Relief Funding Reporting

The Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) has switched Provider Relief Information from the HHS.gov domain to the HRSA.gov domain. This link includes provider relief funding updates, information on how and where to report funding, a report of previous payments and distribution dates, and data on all providers who have received payments from the Provider Relief Fund.

As of August 2021, the Health Resources & Services Administration released additional guidelines on lost revenues, allowable personnel expenses, and reporting your provider relief funding.

Lost Revenues Guidelines

Provider Relief Fund recipients who received more than $10,000 total in one or more payments must report their funding during their respective Payment Received Period. This guide clarifies how to document lost revenues and identify that they occurred during the relevant time. Providers will not need to account for specific expenses to utilize the funding.

Provider Relief Funding: Allowable Personnel Expenses

The document attached here clarifies what expenses (about recruiting and retaining personnel) are allowed in your Provider Relief Funding. In addition, there are examples of allowable retention and recruitment expenses, details on the use of PRF for salaries, and more information on the broadness and flexibility of PRF fund use.
